    Darling Downs Wagyu is sourced from Wagyu cross cattle, raised on natural grasses in Northern Australia and finished on a nutritious grain-based diet in southern Queensland.     Our Wagyu is sourced from the finest Japanese Wagyu genetics. Young cattle are raised on fertile pastures for the majority of their lives before moving to a carefully prepared ration that is designed to optimise eating quality and enable year round consistency.     Kobe Cuisine beef comes from Wagyu cross cattle grown in Northern Australia by Australia’s most awarded Wagyu producer. After being raised on natural pastures, cattle are finished on a rich grain based diet to produce highly marbled beef with unique tenderness and depth of flavour.

  • Master Kobe

    Rich in flavour, extraordinarily tender and seductively rare, Master Kobe Wagyu is produced without compromise and is derived only from fullblood and purebred Wagyu cattle that achieve a minimum marble score of AA9 (equivalent to Japanese Wagyu grading of A5).     Bred in the temperate southern regions of Australia, in particular the Victorian Highlands, young calves are nurtured on their mothers in pristine grazing areas. From 12 months of age they are moved into dedicated backgrounding facilities and finally finished on grain for a minimum of 500 days. Selection criteria is based on meat colour, eye muscle area and marbling (minimum Aus-meat MB7).
